Tuesday, 16 September 2008As come to no surprise at all when there was official announcement about Nicky's moving to Ducati. Everybody has talked about it for months. It's totally big 'secret' for all... But Nicky keeps silent, just giving a little clue, as in Harry Potter's movie... You know who??? Well, we all know he has signed his pen for Ducati months ago.
What is so special then? Nothing! Other than Honda is still struggling now, I know they want to keep him, but Honda can't do nothing because Re! psol intervenes too much for the team. Pedrosa is the golden kid for Repsol and no wonder when Nicky triumphed 2006 world champion, Honda and Repsol was just not 'very happy'... They wanted Pedrosa to win, but Hayden won the title. Honda at least thought.. well.. better than nothing at all :)
I am so sad seeing the situation in HRC now, Puig plays too much role for the team, he keeps triple jobs, as Honda Repsol reps, agency for riders (Pedrosa and others) and advisor in Dorna.. What is going on here? What happen to my Honda?
Regarding the sudden switch from Michelin to Bridgestone for Pedrosa in the middle of the season, Nicky said," This is not a team"... Rite.. this is not a team. This is Spanish's Kingdom in Japanese's Machine. Honda seems unable to control his own team, somebody plays too much role there. Nobody is happy and very contrast to Yamaha and Ducati. I don't believe Dovizioso will be able to kick the Puig's gang over Repsol next year (i! f he is to join them :) ). It is going to be a long drought fo! r Honda. How sad...:(
